Eric York, President & Sales Director
As the President and Sales Director at SIR, Eric York brings a wealth of credibility, trustworthiness, and expertise to the industrial refrigeration industry. Eric’s career stands as a cornerstone of knowledge, guiding SIR towards prominence in the Northwest. At SIR, he oversees the design and implementation of systems at top food processing plants and many other verticals.
Mike Hastings, Chief Financial Officer
Mike oversees strategic planning, management, and all financial activities at SIR. His experience spans more than 20 years of accounting and business management, including successfully founding an online payroll company that was eventually acquired by ADP. Beyond the business world, you will find Mike tending chickens, milking the family cow, tending to any of the projects on his homestead style farm, or cheering on his alma mater on the blue turf of Boise State.
Mike Sansom, Engineering Manager
As a skilled mechanical engineer with more than 8 years experience designing manufacturing automation, material handling, and processing equipment, Mike leads SIR’s engineering department. As a member of ASME, iiar, and ASHRAE, Mike keeps SIR compliant with industry standards and up-to-date with current trends in refrigeration. Outside of SIR, Mike enjoys game nights, social events, camping trips with family and friends, as well as logic puzzles and (ok, a few) video games.
Jeff Shultz, Director of Operations - SIR Utah
With nearly three decades of experience in industrial refrigeration, Jeff joins SIR as the Director of Operations in Utah. Having traversed roles within wholesalers, distributors, and contract construction installations, Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of excellence in client-facing roles. His expertise extends across new business development, partnerships, and operational management. Jeff is committed to fostering lasting client relationships. Outside the office, Jeff enjoys sport shooting with his boys, teasing his daughters and grandchildren, having a fly rod in one hand and his holding his wife’s hand with the other.
Brandon Jennings, Parts Manager
Brandon plays a key role as the Part Manager at SIR, ensuring the seamless operation of our clients’ industrial refrigeration systems. With a keen eye for detail and and in-depth understanding of components, Brandon oversees procurement, inventory management, and timely delivery of critical parts. He grew up hunting, camping and fishing, and now shares that passion with his lovely wife Reilly and their four children. Each season brings a new outdoor adventure for Brandon and his family.
Dean Hyer, Service Manager - SIR Utah
Dean's role as Service Manager for Utah is based on his successful client relationships, more than a decade working in the ammonia refrigeration industry, and his background is in HVAC mechanical systems, starting at age 15! He's known for his problem-solving skills and addressing mechanical challenges, and for ensuring around-the-clock service from his team. His past role with Cascade Energy has given him invaluable experience in conducting energy audits and making recommendations for fine-tuning systems to operate at peak efficiency. When he's not working, Dean enjoys mountain snowmobiling, jet boating on Idaho’s rivers, and all motorsports with his family.
Reilly Jennings, AR | Administrative Assistant
As the Administrative Assistant at SIR, Reilly efficiently manages administrative tasks while serving as the dedicated Accounts Receivable contact for our valued clients. Outside of the office, Reilly is kept busy with four children and three golden retrievers. She loves going on adventures with her husband and kids, whether it’s walking 5-10 miles to find deer or elk antlers, tent camping, or fishing. The great outdoors with her family is her favorite place to be.
Tiffany York, AP | Administrative Assistant
Tiffany efficiently manages administrative tasks at SIR while serving as the dedicated Accounts Payable Contact for our valued partners. She was born and raised in Fruitland, Idaho. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two Red Heelers, going to rodeos, exploring Idaho and Oregon’s gorgeous landscapes. The Oregon coast is her favorite destination. When not outdoors, Tiffany enjoys a good thriller or romance novel.
Jeff Galloway | Director of Sales - SIR Utah
As Director of Sales for SIR Utah, Jeff is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the construction and installation of industrial refrigeration projects for clients. Jeff’s career began as a welder, and at Kemper Northwest he was promoted to Construction Foreman, then Construction Manager at Kemper’s Washington branch. In addition to his construction managerial responsibilities, Jeff has recently expanded his role at SIR to include sales outreach in the Utah area.
